Developmental Screenings
Free Developmental screenings provide information about your child's growth and development. Areas of development screened include motor, language, cognitive, social-emotional, and self-help as well as health, hearing, vision, and dental. Developmental Screenings are available for all children living within NKC Schools Boundaries.
Looking for preschool the year before your child goes to Kindergarten?
We will begin screening for the 2025-26 School Year on January 11th, 2025. Check back soon for the sign up link!
Do you have concerns about your child's development?
If your child is over the age of 3 and you have developmental concerns, the Early Education Center provides a free developmental screening. Through this screening, you will receive additional information on your child's development as well as connections to resources that can support you and your child.
